Joseph is the director of business engagement. He has over 25 years’ experience working in various capacities within local government in the UK. His expertise lies in leisure management, and housing development. He has an established portfolio of developing tenant and residents associations in a socio-economic regeneration project. He has lao developed partnerships between local authorities, private sector and local communities to transform deprived areas by way of architecture and design, inward investment and capacity building. Joseph has an extensive knowledge of the Ghanaian business environment having spent the last 20 years living and doing businesses in Ghana.
Samuel is the director of strategy. He is an experienced businessman with over 15 years’ well-rounded expertise and experience in the real estate, and oil and gas industry. He held numerous positions in the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia. He has a detailed working knowledge of the construction industry and brings a wealth of directorial and operational skills to the business. For much of his time with Rigelco, he is involved with the direction and operation of the company. He holds a Ph.D in management from the University of Warwick, UK.
Mr. Bird is the director of Technical Affairs at Rigelco International. He has over 35 years’ professional experience in engineering and renewable energy projects. Tony spent 23 years working for Saudi Aramco managing critical projects and operations. He has held many positions including Project Manager/ Project Director. He has also consulted extensively for ILF consulting Engineers. Tony has a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from University College Dublin, Republic of Ireland and M.Sc. in Corrosion Engineering from Imperial College London, United Kingdom; Professional Member of the Institute of Corrosion, Member of NACE, and Professional Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (Middle East Section) Member of American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Tony has been instrumental in developing projects from civil to solar projects within UAE and Africa.
Daniel heads the projects department of Rigelco. He has worked in procurement, engineering and construction of projects for over 25 years. From planning through to completion, Mr. Bonsu has overall responsibility for the successful conclusion of projects in Rigelco.
Samuel is a lawyer and contracts director of Rigelco. He is a lawyer by profession with extensive experience in litigation and commercial law. Mr. Owusu-Ansah holds Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Ghana, and Barrister at Laws (BL) from the Ghana Law School. He is also a Chartered Marketer (CIM, UK).
Emmanuel has the overall responsibility for the financial management and treasury function of the company. With an enviable 15 years’ experience in financial management, Emmanuel is a well-established and respected figure in project finance. He has spent over 8 years in senior finance and managerial roles. He holds Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and a Master of Business Administration in finance from the University of Ghana. He is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA, UK) by profession. This wealth of experience and know-how places him perfectly to play an integral role in the continued strategic growth of Rigelco.
MS in Management from the New England College, United States and Mechanical Engineer from University of Calicut., presently working as Senior Manager for a complex refinery project with an international contracting firm and located in UAE. He has proven track record project/program controls and management aspects within oil, gas and power segments.
